Enthrone Darkness Triumphant by Dimmu Borgir is a landmark symphonic black metal record that combines aggressive riffing with epic keyboard arrangements and a dark, atmospheric sound. Released in 1997 as the band's first album on Nuclear Blast and produced by Peter Tägtgren, it marked their international breakthrough and brought them significant chart success, expanding their presence in the metal scene.
